We must think the word, so we can be what God wants us to be. Every promise in His word directly reveals what God is eager to do for us. We must act decisively on the basis of the word, against all opposing elements and mountains of difficulties that may seem to block our way. Our faith turns pressure into praise, and confesses victory before the results come in, because He that promised is faithful. He will not fail.
The word must become flesh in our lives. Faith without action is dead.
The modern man has exalted reason above revelation. Reason and emotional feelings belong to the natural man. He is controlled by externals, but faith in the word belongs to the supernatural man, who trusts invisible evidence. The carnal man believes that only natural evidence is conclusive, denying the eternal evidences of the written word. The word is eternal substance. It is a title deed to the divine property that Jesus purchased for us. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Faith is the certificate of deposit of the unseen things. It is a documented letter of credit, issued by the Bank of Heaven, to be honored on sight. Faith draws out the unseen things by its confession and praise. The word of God is bankable! God honors it on sight. All claims are to be made in Jesus name. “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised
